Your Committee - Who are they?
Communication is so much easier when you know who to talk to.
The Committee is made up of members, are all volunteers and some are your Trustees.
Meet your Committee in pictures.
We currently have over 120 Groups.
Everything from A - W. Some are active, some creative and some academic. We also have lunch and social groups.
Check out our list of Groups. If the one you fancy is presently full, request to be on the waiting list.
We're all about peer and self learning, sharing with one another, spurring on our own learning and having some fun in the process.
Groups Waiting Lists
With 20+ new members joining us each month, we do struggle to keep up with demand for groups. Where there is enough interest we encourage a 2nd, 3rd or even 4th group to start up.
Please add yourself to the waiting list of a group that you fancy, so we know there's a demand. On the other side, several of our groups have spare capacity. Follow the button to see our groups with vacancies.

We have a private Members only Facebook Group for you. Here you can share photos, keep track of upcoming events, some group info and connect with other members.
When you request to join, it will ask for your Membership number so the admin's can check you are a member.
We also have a public Facebook Page.
Think of this as simply an information 'leaflet', visible to everyone.
Please feel free to share this page with friends.

Listen to Mike our Chair, on a Podcast
Alex and Vicks at The Shrewsbury Biscuit Podcast recently interviewed Mike about Shrewsbury u3a.
We loved this interview. Mike did a great job talking about Shrewsbury u3a and what it has to offer.
Something may well strike a cord with you.
Are we Shrewsbury's best kept secret?
Have a listen to Mike Reece, our Chairman chatting with Alex and Vicks.
