There are already 4 Table Tennis groups within Shrewsbury u3a, yet this activity continues to prove popular and to attract strong interest.
With a maximum group size of 17 members it is planned to play both doubles and singles games depending upon the number of players and their wishes, with 20 sessions planned between June 8th 2026 (proposed start) and December 14th.
The cost to join for the initial 20 session block will be a one off payment of £30.00 which will cover all venue hire fees, three new nets for the group's use, an ample supply of balls and tea, coffee etc for refreshments.
