Learn, Laugh, Live

u3a

British Sign Language

This group has been formed to help our members learn the basics and foundations of British Sign Language in a relaxed online setting. We learn together in a friendly, supportive atmosphere where everyone can progress at their own pace and enjoy the shared experience.

Our course is structured enough to give us a clear path forward, but flexible enough to keep things fun and enjoyable. Each session builds confidence in everyday signs, simple conversations and Deaf awareness.

The aim is to help us all communicate more effectively with the wider community and to gain a deeper understanding of the culture and people who use BSL every day.

Whether you’re completely new to signing or simply curious to learn more, you’ll find a warm welcome and plenty of encouragement.
