This group aims to provide a convivial, good‑humoured setting in which to learn and develop the skills of Contract Whist. We play in small groups of three to seven, which keeps the games lively and gives everyone plenty of opportunity to practise.

Contract Whist is an individual game rather than a partnership one, so each player competes on their own.

A basic understanding of ordinary (partner) whist is helpful, as many of the principles carry across, but the group is very supportive and happy to guide anyone who is still building confidence.
