Reading 2

We are a friendly mixed group who meet together once a month on the first Wednesday at the Prince Rupert Hotel in Shrewsbury. We have some very interesting discussions over a cup of coffee in a pleasant environment. Members suggest possible books to read on the basis that they have found them enjoyable or have seen the film or read an interesting review.

Books by Aristotle

The range of books mentioned also allows members to compile a list of additional books they may like to read.
Subjects range from the plight of illegal immigrants as shown in "The Last Thing to Burn" by Will Dean, to "Shrines of Gaiety" by Kate Atkinson concerning clubs and crime after World War 1. "The Nightingale" by Kristen Hannah focussed on women in occupied France while "Slow Horses" by Mick Herron concerned failed spies.

We are also a sociable group who are intend to meet occasionally for a lunch and we aim to continue to broaden our scope of literature and enjoy our discussions.
