Following on from the success of our Tai Chi Beginners Group, we now have a Tai Chi Continuers Group available, as a progression for those that are more flexible and wish to develop and deepen their practice.
If you've been attending our Tai Chi Beginners Group for a while, you'll be appreciating the benefits that Tai Chi offers.
All participants progress and practice at their own pace and within their own physical capabilities.

Classes will run in Blocks of 6 and continues throughout the year.
We will progress through the Set to learn the whole 108 moves, whilst refining techniques and deepening our understanding of the practice.
In each we session we build upon previous tuition, both in moves and technique.

Tuition is based on the Moy style, which Master Moy Lin Shin adapted from the traditional Yang form to suit Western bodies.
This Continuers Group is a progression from Tai Chi Beginner. All members must have attended at least one full Block in Tai Chi Beginners and feel they have the appropriate balance to progress.
Do you know your Dan Yu from a Tor Yo?
Please talk to Sue about joining this Tai Chi Continuers Group.

We split the room hire cost for the between us (£5-£10 each per Block of 6 sessions), depending on the number of participants.
Hopefully students will want to practice at home for maximum benefit.
Sue has made new videos of the foundation exercises in a more advanced and detailed form for you to watch at home (if you wish), making learning through repetition easier. Members will receive the link by email.

Starting Date: Thursday 2nd July 2026.
We do have a maximum capacity for the classes as we each need space to move around, arms especially!
As in the Beginners Group, we take a social break mid-class with your own refreshments.
Sue Davies (Group Coordinator) is a former Tai Chi Instructor, sharing her passion, knowledge and understanding for this beautiful art.
