The Walkers 2 Hill Strollers group generally meets at the Meole Brace Park & Ride at 8:45am for a prompt 9:00am departure on a Thursday. Sometimes we meet up to half an hour earlier for a longer walk. We aim to walk somewhere between 6 and 8 miles with some decent hills to climb. Members all take a turn in leading and organising lunch. Some members may go straight to the start point if they live closer to the start or are not partaking in lunch. To become a member you will need a reasonable level of fitness to cover the distance & ascent. The group is generally full due its popularity, so be prepared to wait a while on the waiting list before you are invited to join.
