Poetry Workshop

We meet in a friendly, informal atmosphere to discuss poetry and share our own work. We offer constructive criticism hoping that this will develop and improve our work. But it is non-threatening, supportive and encouraging.

We try to write something new each month and either send it to other members of the group in advance or bring copies to the meeting.

Inevitably, as well as a critique of the poems we discuss more general aspects of poetry and often a poem leads us to a discussion about the context or focus of the poem.
