Economics

The Economics group meets to explore a wide range of economic ideas, from the core principles that shape everyday life to the major issues currently in the news. We take a practical, accessible approach, looking at how economics helps us understand the world — from prices and inflation to global trade, government policy and personal decision‑making.

Sessions often include short presentations, discussion of recent events, and plenty of time for questions and shared viewpoints. You don’t need any prior knowledge; curiosity and an interest in how the economy works are more than enough.

It’s a friendly, thoughtful group where big topics become manageable and everyone can contribute.
