Local History 2

Alongside our monthly meetings, we organise visits and guided walks to places of historical interest, giving members the chance to explore the town’s past on foot and see the evidence for themselves. It’s an enjoyable mix of learning, conversation and discovery.

Local History 2 delves into the rich story of Shrewsbury — its streets, buildings, and the people who have shaped the town over the centuries. We research and discuss a wide range of local topics, from well‑known landmarks to the lesser‑known corners that reveal Shrewsbury’s character.
