Members have agreed to take an informal approach to begin with using research and discussion, combined with occasional speakers and visits, through an evolving programme which was discussed at the first meeting.

This group has been formed to meet the demand for membership of the three existing Local History groups, each of which has a slightly different approach to the subject.
