Looking at Art

Looking at Art is a small, friendly group that has been meeting since 2012. Each member takes a turn to research an artist, movement or period that interests them, and then shares their findings with the group — often using PowerPoint to bring the subject to life

Because everyone chooses their own topic, the sessions are wonderfully varied: one month we might explore a single painter, and the next we could be looking at a whole artistic era or style. It’s an enjoyable way to learn together, discover new favourites and see art from fresh perspectives.
